Welcome to the online Jewellery Store of Michael & Jane Taylor. These Terms and Conditions below govern the use of www.rubyvalesapphires.com.au (“the website”) and the purchase of any goods from it. The website is operated and managed by Taylors Fine Sapphires (ABN 14989036818).

If you continue to browse and use this website you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use, which together with our privacy policy govern Taylors Fine Sapphires relationship with you in relation to this website.


The aim of rubyvalesapphires.com.au is to provide quality well cut Gems and well made Jewellery for direct sale to you. If you are under 18 years of age you must have parental or guardian permission before making any purchases on Taylors Fine Sapphires website. By agreeing to our terms and conditions you are acknowledging that you are over the age of 18 years of age or have approved Parental or Guardian consent to place your order. All sales are final.

Taylors Fine Sapphires will deliver all items within Australia at no cost (FREE). When placing an international order we do require you to contact us prior to ordering so we can supply you with a current shipping quote. It is a strict policy of Taylors Fine Sapphires that all online purchases are to be paid for prior to shipment of the products; no matter the purchase value. Taylors Fine Sapphires reserves the right to refuse any order at our discretion. If you are refused an order and monies have been transferred, they will be refunded within 14 business days. Taylors Fine Sapphires ships all items in perfect condition following completing pre-shipping inspection by Michael or Jane Taylor.


An order is not considered accepted until we can successfully bill your credit card. Prior to this time, orders may be cancelled by us for any reason, including the sale of the item to another customer. Additionally, the item price is subject to change prior to final approval by Taylors Fine Sapphires.
GST is paid in purchase price.

Ordering Options: online orders can be placed 24 hours a day through this website. You will receive an order confirmation by email. Payment is made by ‘Secure Pay’.

FREE SHIPPING IN AUSTRALIA All packages sent by Taylors Fine Sapphires are sent by Registered Post and Insured. Items can be tracked on the Australia Post website. By placing an order with Taylors Fine Sapphires you are accepting these Terms and Conditions. Orders are shipped within 48 hours unless resizing is required.

Ring Resizing: if ring sizing has been selected, please allow approximately 1 week for shipment. If you need the ring more quickly than that, we can usually rush the sizing to meet your deadline or can ship the ring to you without sizing.


All gold rings are resized at no cost (free) within 3 sizes of original ring size.

All silver rings are resized at a cost of $20 within 4 sizes of original ring size.

Please enquire if a ring requires more than 3 size difference.


We are very proud to bring you quality Gems and Jewellery at the very best price. While we take every precaution to ensure that our prices are accurate, it is possible that programming errors may exist on our website or that individuals (i.e. hackers) may alter the prices on our website or submit fraudulent orders. We reserve the right to reject orders in which the price was not as intended.


If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return the purchase for a full refund or exchange within 7 days. Except when a gold ring that has been resized is returned. In this case, a fee of $40.00 is deducted from the refund amount. Shipping to us is your responsibility and cost.

Damaged items must be reported within 24hrs of receipt of item and return post will be credited to you.

Return and refund will be granted, providing the following Policies being adhered to:

  1. Must be requested by phone or email within 7 days of receiving goods.
  2. Products must be returned in original packaging and in the original condition as it was shipped. Items must be without any signs of wear or tampering.
  3. Items will be replaced or refunded if damaged or lost during shipping. Replacement item will be shipped upon Taylors Fine Sapphires receiving damaged goods returned and after passing inspection by the Quality Control Department for signs of tampering and/or wear. In this case the cost of return postage will be credited to customer.
  4. Taylors Fine Sapphires stocks many ‘one-of-a-kind’ pieces. If items are unavailable for any reason, a full refund will be given.
  5. When seeking to return any goods the customer must pay for the return shipping and insurance. This includes goods purchased with free shipping to you.
  6. Items that are part of a set e.g. Earrings, must be returned as a set.
  7. Damaged items must be reported within 24 hours of receipt of goods.


All Jewellery purchased from Taylors Fine Sapphires is covered by our limited 30 day repair warranty. The 30 day warranty period begins the day you receive your original purchase. Our repair warranty covers each item for defects in manufacturing. Please contact us for warranty issues. We will provide you with a return shipping address. All shipments to us must be insured for your protection. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs and assumes all risks for loss or damage in transit.

Warranty coverage is based on the sole determination of Taylors Fine Sapphires, and expressly excludes coverage for excessive wear and tear, poor care, abuse, loss or theft. Repair or alterations (including ring sizing) performed by anyone other than Taylors Fine Sapphires will void this warranty as we are not able to control nor guarantee the workmanship of another jeweller.


All care has been taken to ensure www.rubyvalesapphires.com.au and any e-mails are safe and free from viruses. However it is not the responsibility of Taylors Fine Sapphires if the transfer of a virus does occur. Taylors Fine Sapphires takes all precautions in virus scanning and internet/computer protection, but also encourages customers to scan for viruses and advises do not accept any e-mails that you think might be fraudulent.


Taylors Fine Sapphires membership account is free to join. However accounts are non-transferable. You may update, edit or terminate your membership at any time by emailing Taylors Fine Sapphires on the email address provided on the ‘contact us’ page. It is the customer’s responsibility to update all information (including postal address) as Taylors Fine Sapphires will not be responsible for your order being sent to a wrong address due to information not being updated. As a Taylors Fine Sapphires membership holder, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your own membership account and password. You agree to take responsibility for all activities that occur under your account and password.


Prices of goods, services and other charges displayed on the Taylors Fine Sapphires website are current at the time of upload. These prices are subject to variation and change without notice. All products displayed on the site are currently in stock. On the rare occasion, stock may be sold prior to the item being removed from the website. If this does occur, Taylors Fine Sapphires will refund the total price as soon as possible.

Your personal information- Name, Address, Email Address, Phone Number, Billing Address, Shipping Address and any other personal information given by you, not including payment information, is stored securely by Taylors Fine Sapphires and is never disclosed to any 3rd party except in any circumstances that law enforcement is involved. Personal billing information, account information, credit card details and any other banking or billing information is processed through Secure Post website or direct bank deposit.
